- Chapters host six forums annually. Each Forum features an address by a family business leader or a leading expert in family business that provides in-depth knowledge and insights on issues directly relevant to your family business. Forums also create an environment for members to connect and to have fellowship with one another. Breakfast or lunch is served.
- Morning Grind Seminars

Morning Grind Seminars are mini educational workshops that provide an opportunity for family business members to hear professional presentations from our sponsors about pertinent topics. Specifically, Morning Grinds serve as a great professional development tool, help to identify new business practices, and encourage members to reach their goals of business success and sustainability.
- Peer Roundtables
- Peer Roundtables allow family business owners to meet in a small group setting that fosters in-depth discussions about common family business challenges. Designed to be a highly interactive and dynamic program, Roundtables give participants the opportunity to explore thoroughly personal business issues and concerns with their peers and our facilitators in an atmosphere of strict confidentiality. This format ensures that members gain a broad and balanced perspective through a unique peer support system.
- Professional Business Assessments
- Members will have the opportunity to complete the Family Business Profile (FBP), a professional family business assessment tool created by FBIET. Administered through a series of private interviews and questionnaires with family and non-family members, the FBP focuses on three central areas: the family, each individual, and the business.
- FBIET Blog (Coming Soon!)
- The FBIET blog will provide education, create a venue for discussion, and inspire community among our membership. Prospective members will also gain valuable insight from the blog about the FBIET and the benefits of membership.
- Membership Directory (Coming Soon!)
- The Membership Directory is a members-only online resource, designed to promote and facilitate interaction among members of the Family Business Institute.
